Membership Meeting Timeline

  • Now: Send Save the Date email to Leadership Committee and Lowdown
  • Now: finalize date and place (both NYC and Mexico City) for the meeting
  • Now: Draft proposed guidelines for how to handle the meeting
  • July 26: Officially propose guidelines for approval by the LC
  • August 2: Announce request for Leadership Committee nominations (Lowdown)
  • August 2: Announce request (and guidelines) for proposals (Lowdown)
  • August 16: Finalize Postcard announcing meeting
  • August 16: data entry: collect and enter addresses and phone numbers of members
  • August 23: Reminder email to members about the meeting
  • August 23: mail postcards
  • August 30: Begin phone calls and emails
  • August 30: Candidates and proposals announced and publish via the Lowdown
  • September 6: Target 200 phone calls and individual emails made/sent
  • September 8: Online voting for LC members begins. Announcement sent to LC
  • September 10: Reminder about meeting is sent
  • September 14: Last reminder about meeting
  • September 15: Meeting happens
