Getting to know increasing numbers of libre and decentralized social network projects has become also increasingly important to the social movement.
Follow up and understand the development of projects such as:
- and lots of others (please include),
becomes difficult even your people specialized on tech related work.
This page is intended to document MFPL efforts to develop a mapping system that helps collaboration towards providing a tool that easily identifies their core developers, communities (lists, blogs, etc), it's installation requirements, present (and projected) features (where federation is an important one) and allows mfpl members to discuss on the politics that guides the development of those projects.
Is important to say, this tool could provide important input for further philosophical and political analysis in benefit of the forces of social change.
mv has proposed -for a while now- to use http://littlesis.org/ as a platform for us to use, and now again for such tool.
