Voice Over Internet Protocol (aka VOIP)

As a service to our members we offer VOIP as a means of voice and video communication over the internet. This is to offer services that are comparable to Skype (owned by MicroSoft) or Google Voice/Hangout (owned by google though based on free software). With the use of your computer or smart phone you can connect and establish person to person calls or conference calls through our servers without the need to creating an account on a corporate site, but meeting the same capabilities that commercials services offer.

We currently offer the following services, click to service to learn how to use them.

  • XMPP/jabber Similar to Skype
  • Mumble Better Sound quality and low latency connection
  • Mexcla Provides an interface for simultaneous translation

Please keep in mind this page will change as we work on supporting different VOIP technologies.

Note: See TracWiki for help on using the wiki.
