Initial projects:
Add all relevant members to email list. Recruit to team.
Coordinate accounting procedures between Mexico and US offices.
Create process and procedure for teams to request funds, for requests to be approved and for payments, disbursements or reimbursements to be made. Initial steps available at https://support.mayfirst.org/wiki/accounting.
Need to determine policy/process for tracking and managing overall budget, for dealing with requests that extend past budget allotments, income forecasting, cash flow analysis, accounts receivable and reporting to the membership.
Need to arrange financial review. We are currently not tracking depreciation of our hardware. Need to ensure all processes are fulfilling all legal and financial responsibilities.
Need to work with Board to make sure annual meeting minutes are archived.
Collect other policies, rules, procedures for archiving and access.
