    v2 v3
    11= Riseup / MFPL shared colo =
    22
3  * Term - I think we should think about this based on the term of the contract - in this case September 30, 2009.
4  * Capacity - how many servers can we add between now and the end of the term?  Rather than figure things based on how many servers we have now - I think it would be useful to try to predict server usage through the end of the term. We can figure expenses based on when the are installed - but I'm increasingly concerned about making sure we don't both expand servers at the same time. I think we'll need to estimate total capacity of the cabinet now and then see how many more servers can be added and then ensure that our plans through September won't exceed that. I would definitely expect MFPL to install at least one more server, probably two and at most three between now and the end of the term
3 * Term: September 30, 2009. That's the end of our contract with Bandcon - after which we will want to jointly negotiate a new contract with them.
     4 * Cost: $860/month
     5
     6 * Current Capacity
     7  * Riseup
     8   * Bufflehead
     9   * New Server 1
     10   * New Server 2
     11  * MFPL
     12   * axiom
     13   * naomi
     14   * ottorene
     15   * pianeta
     16   * pietri
     17   * roy (turned off)
     18   * chomsky (turned off)
     19  * Shared
     20   * paley (terminal server)
21 * Future growth - we seem to be at current electrical capacity. Our contract allows us to add a new 20 Amp circuit for an additional $360, something we may want to consider adding now. MFPL will need to add one or two more servers prior to September 30, 2009 and Riseup may also need to add new servers
     22
    523 * Shared resources - I'm purposefully mixing all tech/non-tech resources together:
    6   * Cabinet/bandwidth/electricity
7   * Switch (it was donated to us)
8   * Terminal server (purchased on ebay... I'll have to lookup the price)
9   * PDU (also purchased on ebay... i'll have to lookup the price)
     24  * Cabinet/bandwidth/electricity ($860/month)
25  * Switch (it was donated to MFPL)
     26  * Terminal server (MFPL purchased $449)
     27  * PDU (MFPL purchaesd $140)
    1028  * Bill paying/admin overhead
1129  * Legal authority (we signed the current contract, so this falls with us)
1230  * Technical Authority (we've gotten a badge for you - I'm not sure what this  means in terms of your ability to call in tech issues)
1331  * Possibly: backup server(s). We currently have one installed in  XO - RAID5 with 3 1 TB disks (just under 2 TB total, most currently available).
     32
     33 * Future projects
     34  * Move PDU unit (#1860)
35  * Measure electrical usage by computer
     36  * Add 2 circuit
     37
