Monday, September 10: The voting site is open for leadership committee nominations.

Opening Presentation

• Date: Thursday, September 20, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm America/New_York
• Format: Video webinar with 4 - 6 panelists, participants submit questions via text chat
• Technology: Panelists present via Jitsi Meet, we capture screen and broadcast via icecast, questions collected via Riseup Pad, session is recorded

Membership Meetings

We are scheduling 8 one hour sessions. Each session will have 10 to 15 members. We will meet online to answer the quesiton: What should be our organization's priorities for the comming year?

Each session will be lead by two leadership committee members.

Any member is welcome to attend any session and all members should attend one session.

Based on the current political moment, we have designated four of the meetings to particular issue areas to encourage members who work in those areas to attend the same meeting for a more productive conversation. However, all meetings will answer the same general question about May First/People Link's priorities for the coming year. The discussions will not be limited to just the topic areas identified.

All meetings will take place on Mumble. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided for all meetings.

Meetings will not be recorded, however, one person will be the designated note taker and will be responsible for posting the results of the meeting to ​our discussion topic. All times are America/New_York:

Practice sessions: If you have never used mumble, our online meeting system, come to a practice session! We will listen to music, help you with your settings and make sure you are ready to go when the time comes:

• Friday, October 19 - November 12: Strategy team edits list of proposed priorities, removes duplicates, translates proposal
• Friday, October 19 - November 12: all Leadership Committee nominations are translated.
• Monday, November 12, Leadership Committee approves list
• Tuesday, November 13 - Monday, November 20th: Voting occurs
• Wednesday, November 21: results are published
