     190Movement Mesa - NYC
191Present Abi, Alfredo, Hillary, Stefan  (Josue on phone)
     192
     193Problem: Website
     194looks insider, DIY, text heavy.
     195Design – make things prettier
196Functionality and Organization – make things clearer. Things are hard to find.
197Interaction – get people to use the website themselves
     198
     199Proposal:
     2001. Upgrade Website
     201
202We are currently running an older version of Drupal. We need to change this to allow bigger and better things including both internal and external outreach.
     203
     204Problem: Increase member consciousness
205Members think we are a service provider not a political organization. Low turnout at MM. Welcoming members – currently get an email from Alfredo. How do we maintain relationships with organizations? We could do joint trainings with organizations. Online and phone conversations on topics of interest to our members.
     206
     207Proposals:
     208
2092. Member Dialogs – "People Links"
     210
     211Talks coordinated with current members
212 * reach out to members to find out what issues are of interst to them including topical issues and organizational struggles.
213 * develop program from membership input and reach out to MFPL as well as organizational members' constitutencies.
     214
     2153. Welcome Video
216Short introduction to what MFPL is and what does it mean to be a member. Should be sent out to all new (current) members and placed prominently on front page of website.
     217
     2184. Tech Connect
219Ongoing outreach to members about new capabilities, features, etc.
     220
221Problem - Lowdown and email list
222We do not know how many people are reading the lowdown also people are dropping out. Is the lowdown the best way to maintain regular communication with membership. What are the other ways we can communicate with membership (email, phone, mail, in person)?
     223
     224Proposals:
     225
     2265. Intentional Media Work
227LC will create plan for intentional media work to increase MFPL's exposure and ideas.
     228
     2296. Create Outreach Organizing Team
     230
     231Team Projects
     232        a. Mapping the Membership
233   Analyze the membership to identify core membership, and prioritize further outreach. Focus efforts on groups we can bring into the core group.
     234
     235        b. Organizational Recruitment
236        Reaching out to organizations that should be members.
     237
     2387. Support Social Forum
239Continue working with USSF though political participation, planning, and technical support.
     240
     241-------
     242
