Tech Requirements
Ideally, we'd like to have:
- Real time audio feed to/from NYC and Mexico City so that if someone speaks in the mic in either room, it's broadcast in both rooms. This feed has to have a very limited delay (a few seconds). This is really tough with free software because of poor echo cancellation.
- Video feed to/from NYC and Mexico City that is projected in both rooms. It would ideal if the video and audio were in sync, but not absolutely necessary. A video delay is more tolerable than an audio delay.
- Live public audio feed over the Internet (delay is ok)
- Text chat for remote participants to type in questions to be read allowed to the group. And, if possible, also projected in both rooms.
- Live public video video feed over the Internet (delay is ok)
