-MF/PL is leading a People's Assembly Network event at the upcoming Allied Media Conference in Detroit this summer.  This will include the kickoff of our new program the People of Color Techie Training Program which aims to put technological skills, expertise and control in diverse hands.  We will also sponsor a day long action session to strategize how we can build a more powerful, progressive Internet.  We're trying to raise funds to help bring more organizers to these events.  Power comes from participation.
