    7070The kvm-screen service simply runs: `/usr/local/sbin/kvm-screen $guest` as the $guest user.

     72As you can see - the screen service is entirely independent of the service that starts the guest. So, if the guest is up and running properly but there is no screen service, you can fiddle all you want with the screen service without interfering with the guest service itself.
