     103After upgrading, run {{{diff -u /etc/security/limits.conf.dpkg-old /etc/security/limits.conf}}}.  If limits.conf.dpkg-old doesn't exist, or if diff shows no significant output, then there are no special steps required here.  On the other hand, if diff shows ulimit settings removed, you'll need to restore them in {{{/etc/security/limit.d/$(hostname).conf}}}.  See ticket:11200 for elaboration.
