Why Does Webmail take so long to display my inbox?

If you are using webmail and find that everytime you view the list of email messages in your inbox, it takes a long time (like more than 10 seconds), you might try one of these options:

• Ensure you are not running filters everytime your inbox is displayed. If you have configured your account to filter spam, ensure that you do not have a checkbox next to "Apply filter rules whenever Inbox is displayed?" in your Options -> Filters setting.
• Keep your inbox to under 1000 messages. You can store as many messages as you need, but please keep the inbox to a reasonable number to speed things up.
