33NOTE: March 28, 2007: Old versions of Outlook have a bug that prevent you from properly sending secure email. We strongly encourage you to use the free email program [http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/ Thunderbird] instead of Microsoft Outlook because we believe in supporting community-based free software projects rather than corporate based software projects like Outlook. However, if you have to use Outlook, you will need to download the most recent Outlook updates that fix the bug before you will be able to properly configure Outlook to send email securely. You can update Outlook [http://office.microsoft.com here] - please click the Check for Updates link.

57First you need to set up a new account. Click on Tools and choose Email Accounts from the dropdown. Choose "Add a new email account". Then you need to decide whether you want a POP account or an IMAP account. In most cases, we recommend POP, but if you plan to use webmail frequently or will use multiple accounts to check your email, you may want to use IMAP. NOTE: This tutorial assumes you have chosen IMAP. Once you choose and click next, you get you this screen:

17 NOTE: if you are using POP, please use port 995 instead of 993. Both incoming and outgoing require SSL, so make sure those boxes are checked. Also change the port for the outgoing server to 587. Click OK and click click Next and click Finish.
19NOTE: if you are using POP, please use port 995 instead of 993. Both incoming and outgoing require SSL, so make sure those boxes are checked.  On Outlook 2007, outgoing mail should be set to TLS rather than SSL. Also change the port for the outgoing server to 587. Click OK and click click Next and click Finish.
