How do I setup iPhone to use May First/People Link email?

Set up Mayfirst Email on iPhone

• Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar

• Select Add Mail Account

• Select Other (account type)

• Select Add Mail Account

Enter

• Name: {your name here}
• Email: {your email here}
• Password: {your Mayfirst password here}
• Description: {some description here}

Click Next

• Choose IMAP

Enter IMAP Account Information

• Host Name: {mail.mayfirst.org}
• User Name: {your user account name for the email address [listed as Recipient on members.mayfirst.org]}
• Password: {your Mayfirst password}

Outgoing Mail Server

• Host Name: {mail.mayfirst.org}
• User Name: {your user account name for the email address [listed as Recipient on members.mayfirst.org]}
• Password: {your Mayfirst password}

Advanced Settings

• Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar
• Select the account
• Select the Advanced

Associate mailboxes with correct mail folders.

• Select Drafts Mailbox, pick Drafts
• Select Sent Mailbox, pick Sent
• Select Deleted Mailbox, pick Trash

These should be set by default when you first set up the email, but if it's not, make sure the correct authentication is set.

• Use SSL: ON
• Authentication: Password
• Server Port: 587
