-For MF/PL, voluntary work is an expression of the commitment to our organization and the morale of its members and it has always been an essential aspect of our organizational work and life. At the same time, there are concrete needs that our volunteer workers cannot meet. Thanks for the enormous contribution of our members, MF/PL has the resources to pay work in some important areas of our operations. We consider the decisions on who is hired and for what work to be a Co-Directors' responsibility since they oversee our operations but we also need to develop a general strategic vision and policy about what work is needed and what type of person we hire and/or recruit to do that work.

+PM/EP tiene condiciones para contratar asistentes en tareas  importantes de su operación cotidiana. Consideramos que la contratación  de nuevos colaboradores es responsabilidad de los CoDirectores pues son  éstos quienes deben resolver los aspectos operativos, sin embargo es muy  relevante alcanzar definiciones estratégicas sobre el trabajo y l@s  trabajadores de nuestra asociación así como su compromiso militante,  pues son ell@s la fuerza que mueve a PM/EP. La estrategia requiere  aclarar: ¿qué aspectos deberemos considerar para alcanzar el balance  necesario entre trabajo voluntario y trabajo contratado?,  ¿cuáles son  las motivaciones de las y los compañeros voluntarios que contribuyen  cotidianamente con su trabajo a PM/EP y cómo las incorporamos a nuestra práctica?, ¿qué medios pueden proponer para  que nuestra membresía reconozca su contribución?, ¿qué políticas  generales deben orientar la contratación de nuevos compañeros y qué alternativas construiremos para su formación política?
