= Paying Your Dues =

Starting in September 2022 we are using a new system for receiving notifications and paying dues!

== Getting the news ==

Two weeks before it is time to pay your dues, you should receive an email message like the following:

Note the link to click on to pay. This link is specifically generated for your membership.

''If you don't get an email, then please visit: [https://outreach.outreach.org/civicrm/public/pay#/mayfirst/pay our payment page] and enter your email address to get a link sent to you.''

== Ensure your Membership details are correct ==

When you click on the link to pay, you will land on a page with your membership details. It will look something like this:

Important parts of this page include:

1. **The amount you owe:** If you pay by credit card or paypal this is the amount that will be charged
2. **Your income range:** Be sure to check this! If we've assigned an income range that is more then your actual income you can save money by correcting. If it's too low, please increase it so we all pay our fair share.
3. **Your official contacts:** These people not only get notified, but also have the ability to change details about your membership. Make sure the contact info is correct.
4. **The blue button to change your details**: Need to make changes? Click this button. You will be walked through all the changes. When you are done, you can save and then you'll see a link to return to the pay screen.

== Making the payment ==

When paying in USD, you may pay via credit card, Pay Pal or by sending a check:

When paying in MXN, please make a bank transfer and then upload a screen shot of your receipt:

== Policy ==

Payment policy reminder - all memberships are given up to 60 days of "Grace" to pay.  After 60 days, the membership is expired and will be deleted. If you need any additional time or would like to switch to monthly, just contact: {{{members@mayfirst.org}}}.
