assuming you have Thunderbird installed already.

go to http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ [[BR]]
click on "download"[[BR]]
pick the appropriate operating system and email client from the scroll down[[BR]]
   you can see what version of Thunderbird you have by:[[BR]]
     -go to Thunderbird[[BR]]
     -click on "Help" (File menus at the top)[[BR]]
     -"About Mozilla Thunderbird"[[BR]]
