The goal of this campaign would be to encourage all May First/People Link members (and everyone else affected by the campaign) who are not already using Firefox and Thunderbird to make the switch. 

Timing-wise, I think we would want to plan this campaign after the WSF 2008 campaign - in other words, starting in February 2008.

It could look something like this:

 * Pick 2 or 3 members who are interested in making the switch. Schedule an office visit/meeting with their staff to discuss and provide technical assistance in helping them make the switch.

 * Send out [https://lists.mayfirst.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/lowdown Lowdown] announcing the campaign and profile the organizations who made the switch

 * Schedule 2 - 3 trainings at the Brecht Forum about Free software in general and about how to make the switch. Invite the members who did the initial switch to come and discuss their experiences.
