== How do I setup Mac Mail to use May First/People Link email? ==

This tutorial is based on Mac Mail v. 2.0.5 (OS 10.4, Tiger). It assumes your domain name is fullofjoy.org and your username is joyfull.

 1. From the toolbar, Apple Menu -> Preferences. Click the button to add a new account

 1. Select POP from the Account Type drop down.

 1. Fill in your incoming mail information. Your username and password should have been assigned to your by May First or you organization's account manager when your email account was created.

 1. If you get the following error about not being able to connect to the server - you can safey ignore it. You are getting the error because we haven't properly setup security yet.

 1. Set your incoming security settings (NOTE: Make sure Authentication is set to "password").

 1. Enter your outgoing mail information. Note - your outgoing username and password is the same as your incoming username and password. And your outgoing server name should be the same as your incoming server name.

 1. Set your outgoing security settings.

 1. You should see a summary like this.

 1. When all is finished, it should look something like this:

 1. Last step: If you click on Server Settings, make sure server port is set to 587, the SSL box is checked and the Authentication is set to Password.
