MFPL was not officially represented, but Eric from member organization Open Flows attended. * [http://networked-politics.info/ Networked Politics] held a seminar in Berkeley on December 5 - 7. Jamie represented MFPL on the opening panel and during the seminar. * We were invited by our latest member, the [http://www.anarchist-studies.org/ Institute for Anarchist Studies], to attend their Renewing the Anarchist Studies (RAT) workshop in November 7-9, 2008, in Montpelier, Vermont. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it. We did the Internet rights workshop - for the first time in two languages and two locations - [http://fsa.mayfirst.org check out the results!]. * dkg, Josue, and Alfredo attended [http://www.criticalresistance.org/article.php?list=type&type=36 the Critical Resistance 10 conference on prisons in Oakland, CA on September 26 - 28, 2008]. We ran the Internet rights workshop (see [ticket:1167 discussion]). * [http://debconf8.debconf.org/ DebConf 8] was held in Mar del Plata, Argentina from August 10th to August 16th, 2008. We didn't make it. * [http://techmeet.org Techmeet] happened in Rio September 5 - 7. We didn't attend. * The [http://www.hope.net Last Hope] - the hacker conference sponsored by [http://2600.com 2600 Magazine] - happened July 18 - 20, 2008 in New York City. Didn't go in 2008. * The National Conference for Media Reform is happening in Minneapolis June 6-8 [http://www.freepress.net/conference NCMR]. Josue represented on a panel Sunday morning with 300 people! * We missed the [http://labornotes.org/ Labor notes] conference (April 11 - 13).
