Blackberry set up does not display proper from address

We're having problems setting up one of our staff member's blackberry to download email from her account on our domain ( We were able to get it to work with the server, but everything she sends comes out as and this confuses the heck out of the people she writes to. Is there any way we can alias the email so that it seems to come from our domain? She would also be satisfied with forwarding it to her blackberry address, but then Outlook wouldn't be able to download from her account on the domain since the system seems to be an either or. Please advise!

Hi Eva,

When sending via our webmail system, you may have the problem you are describing (the message being sent from an address). You can fix by following these directions.

If the staff person's emails that are sent from the blackberry are coming with that from address - I think that's something that will need to be changed on the blackberry. There's nothing that we can change on our servers - to my knowledge - that will affect the From Address used by the blackberry to send email.

If that is the exact problem - I just found a page that seems to address the issue. The solution might vary depending on who your service provider is.

I doubt anyone still uses the particular device in question.
