Installing SSL certificate

Description

Sorry I hadn't realized when I requested the CSR for our SSL renewal that we would also need help installing it. Can you do this for us? I am attaching the files I downloaded from Network Solutions to this ticket.

Also, Dan suggested that we should get a certificate for thenewpress.com in addition to www.thenewpress.com. Do you have any recommendation on how to handle this? Would it make more sense to redirect traffic to www.thenewpress.com rather than buy and install an additional certificate (which Network Solutions said we would need to do).

Thanks,

Emily

Hi Emily,

Just so you're aware this type of work should be done by your developers. Since they are managing your site upgrade, it seems like you'd want them involved in the configuration of your site and your ssl certificates. I can set up your current certificate, but I encourage you to discuss with the developers how you want to manage www.np.com and np.com.

Okay, you're certificate is in place and should be functioning properly.

Hi Ross,

Thanks very much for this (our office was closed yesterday so just seeing this now). I will talk to Roger about that. He thought he might not have the full access needed to restart apache (I may be misrepresenting exactly what he said here).

Thanks,

Emily
