How do I create an email account for an intern or future staff? I want an intern to send an email from a Teachers Unite address that isn't mine. I'm hoping to have additional staff in the not too distant future and they'll need an email account too.

I went to the FAQ but I don't see "Hosting Order" or "Services" so I can't follow the directions. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Sally,

I see that the FAQ has an old link to the Control Panel. If you go to, do you see the "hosting order" and "service" drop-downs?

I'm back after many months to say that I don't see "Hosting Order" anywhere. There's a new employee with Teachers Unite who needs an email account.

Welcome back! I've been working with your clone while you were gone.

click "control panel" on the right

log in with the admin user/pass

You'll now see your hosting order

create a new user

go to "email account" in the scroll down and create the email alias (it will give you the option of tagging this to any user)

and that should do it.

As for adding a new email account--the directions you give are a fantasy perpetuated by the May First People Link industrial complex:

I went to the control panel, logged in, and saw nothing saying "hosting order", nor did I see any kind of drop down menu or anything indicating that it was possible to "create a new user" or "email account."

There is an answer to this riddle. I know it.

Ha!!! Ye of little faith! We do NOT perpetuate fantasies...we have a few maybe but no perpetuation here.

It MAY be that you logged in as someone other than the admin user but log in as teachersunite. you'll see a dropdown starting with user...

add a new user...

once down, drop down to email accounts

add a new email account and tag it to the user.

Are the directions in our faqs confusing and so you should tell us what confuses because we should correct them. We'd appreciate that help.

Oh yeah...wahtever else you need, let us know.

This is very exciting. Now if I only knew what the admin password is (it doesn't seem to be the same for the website admin).

Hi Sally - I just emailed you a password reset link for teachersunite (sent to your hotmail account).

In the future, you can always reset passwords on our reset password page.
