problem installing roundcube

I'm trying to install roundcube to run email. All was well until I came to the DB config. I made a MYSQL database through my Mayfirst control panel. I edited the DSN section to reflect the name, login, and password to the MYSQL database that I created and it gave me this error message. It seems to reset everything to the defaults. Sorry... confused noob here.

Check DB config DSN (write): NOT OK(SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'roundcube'@'localhost' (using password: YES))

Make sure that the configured database exists and that the user has write privileges DSN: mysql://roundcube:pass@localhost/roundcubemail

Hello volunteer,

I gather that you're trying to install your own instance of roundcube? MFPL has roundcube running at, and it's available to all members. Just for my own curiosity, why are you installing your own copy? Is something in not working for you? I'd just like to understand what you're trying to do.
