Description

Friends, I want to set up a website at MF/PL and have our email hosted there. We are setting up our 501c4 site with you. I don't yet have a domain. Do you help us get domain names? Or I can simply contact our current ISP and get one. Then I can transfer it over to MP/PL. I will have to read up fast on setting up a web page and have you host our email for our new domain. I am having trouble logging in to your site and to your control panel. I am using SWOP's user name: SWOP and my personal user name: Roibal. The passwords I set up do not work. I tried resetting them but got a message saying the user names were not identified????????????? I want to set up a webpage where members can donate. Do I need a shopping cart, or simply get something like a PayPal account to set it up there? Your assistance is very appreciated. In solidarity, Roberto Roibal (505)247-8832. roberto@…

Hi Roberto,

Thanks for the message and sorry to hear you are having some issues getting setup. First, I'd like to confirm that the username on the accout swop which is link to this hositng order: https://members.mayfirst.org/cp/index.php?area=hosting_order&hosting_order_id=1001375&service_id=1 which is where the main website can be setup. You are one of the main contacts on the account, the by using https://members.mayfirst.org/resetpass you should be able to reset the password. The username would be swop, there is no personal name associated with that account login.

In regards to your question about domains, once you have purchased the domain you are able to manage that domain through the MF/PL control panel, you'll just need to set the nameservers as noted here.

You can setup and manage your email account through the control panel once you've set the nameservers to MF/PL, here's a bit more detail about how to setup email account.

Please let us know if this helps and if you have any other questions,

Dana
