Couple of Mailman Hosting Questions

We have a legal aid org that is interested in using your/our Mailman hosting service in a little more specialized way.

  1. They'd like to integrate list archives into their web site. They

are running a Plone site and would like to setup a feed or in some way import list archives into their site so they can make them more accessible and searchable from their site. We'll let them worry about the Plone set-up but can we setup somekind of feed from a list archive?

  1. Custom domain name - they'd like to use something like

"" Is that possible and/or practical to have our sub-hostees using custom domain names for their lists?

Mailman archives can be rss fed. We do it for our service advisories on our site

lower left hand sidebar.

Custom domain name is actually a host name for that domain. All email lists at mf/pl can use their own domain for lists by configuring it on the control panel -- *if* we have authority over the domain. If not, we'd set something up in their config files to make that happen.

Yup - I agree with Alfredo - an RSS feed is the way to go. I just created a wiki page with an explanation of that feature.
