Drupal Upgrade Failure

Reported by: Le Tim Ly Owned by: Ross
Priority: Urgent Component: Tech

Description

We just ran drush up on our site and it removed Views and CCK and caused other an array of other issues. Is there a way to step back or do I need to upload my local backed up files?

Thanks.

Ross, can you look at this?

Hi podersf,

This is not an exact science, but drush should not "remove" modules. However, if it does remove something it should have moved those things into the drush backup directory. That said, if doing an update borked your site, then you will likely need to re-build the site from a backup. Looking at the site, though, it looks like it's up and running, and views and cck are both enabled. Have you resolved the problem?

Yes, I did copy the modules from my backups back to the site. Seems to be working okay now. Strange that happened. Thanks.
