whenever I log on to my account to check my email remotely, it takes approx. 1 minute for every single action to occur (i.e. deleting a message, returning to Inbox from messages, etc.) This is not the case for other accounts associated with my service (i.e. my employees) but this happens on multiple computers so it is a problem either with the account or the server. This starting happening in mid-August. I would use the my software but have been unable to figure out how to filter spam - so I am still using the regular webmail software.

Hi sbankoff,

A minute per action seems significantly too long. I'm not seeing anything that should cause such long waits for your email account. I'm assuming you are using the sbankoff account for your email, if that's incorrect, please let me know.

One suggestion would be to test our new webmail system at . Can you try that webmail interface to see if it's faster.

Ross, I can use the roundmail service but there doesn't seem to be any kind of spam filter on it - I've looked, so it becomes equally cumbersome. There's still the very slow shifting on sbankoff but, as I said, not on the other accounts which I have access to for my company. Is there someway to compact my mailbox or something - I have it automatically delete messages after 30 days so it doesn't seem too full.

Hi Simeon,

It seems that your ticket got lost in my backlog. My apologies. Are you still experiencing this problem? I don't think compacting your mailbox would help as you only have some 55M worth of email. You should not be experiencing the delays you're speaking of. If you are still experiencing this problem, I'd recommend disabling any filters you have and see if that speeds things up. If it does, then enable the rules one by one and try re-loading the inbox, until you find the filter causing the problem.
