#5555 closed Task/To do item (fixed)

mx1 /var filesystem is short on space

Reported by: Jamie McClelland Owned by: Ross
Priority: Medium Component: Tech
Keywords: mx1 fs-full Cc:
Sensitive: no

There is plenty of space available on mx1. The following commands could be run during off hours to resolve the problem:

lvextend --size 366GB vg_mx10/var
resize2fs /dev/mapper/vg_mx10-var

The last command may take a while to complete (like 30 minutes or so)

I'd be happy to do this. I should have time tonight at midnight, if you want to join.

I've extended mx1's logical volume /dev/mapper/vg_mx10-var.
