I just hired someone to upgrade our sit to Drupal 7. They've asked me for the following information from May First:

MySWL MySQL version of lInux version of Apache Linux SSH access (command line) Does MayFirst do tech support? If so, what are the hours?

Thank You!

Replying to mplouis@…:

It's not clear to me what this means, sorry.

MySQL version of lInux version of Apache Linux

Are these all asking about version numbers? MF/PL runs debian systems. We use Squeeze, the stable release. That's Linux 2.6.32, MySQL 5.1.61, and apache 2.2.16. You can learn more about various debian packages at

SSH access (command line)

yes, this is configured via "Server Access" from the control panel.

Does MayFirst do tech support? If so, what are the hours?

You are currently interacting with the MF/PL support system. It is online 24/7, and a team of folks monitor it. MF/PL members can help each other through this system as well. The person you hired can log in here with any OpenID account and open tickets as needed. They can also search this site for answers to any questions they might have. Most common questions are already documented.

For example, we have a FAQ about upgrading drupal.
