Hi, we're having trouble with the files on new site.

Need files directory writeable by the web application the sites/default/files directory needs to be owned by the apache user I believe this is www_data

currently the files directory is set to be writeable by everyone and that is not ideal so the files directory should be owned by www_data and permissions of 755

Hi Jennifer,

Sorry but could you tell us which domain you're working with?

Hi Jennifer,

It looks like you need to change the user to apalctrestle on the domain. You seem to have added most of the files to that domain with a different user trestledidthis. Generally, we suggest using a single user for website editing and that that user be the same as the group.

If you need help getting the permissions set correctly, let me know.
