#16805 closed Question/How do I...? (fixed)

Mailman question

Description

Hi!

The "Overview of all lists.mayfirst.org mailing lists" link at the bottom of our listinfo page yields "403 Forbidden". Presumably this is to prevent any single customer from seeing a list of all customer's lists.

Is there another way of accomplishing the same task, i.e. an organization member seeing a list of our own lists in order to subscribe?

Thanks.

Hi Ken,

Yes we began limiting access to that page after a rash of spam attacks to those lists that appeared on the public page. We should do something nicer than just return an error.

As an admin for your membership or hosting order you would be able to see the full list of e-mail lists you've created under your membership in the control panel here: https://members.mayfirst.org/cp/index.php?area=hosting_order&hosting_order_id=1005176&service_id=8

However other users you've created would not see that list. I think what you're asking for makes sense and we should try to include it as a goal in our control panel redesign.
