Mail keeps quitting unexpectedly

Description

HI: Every time since Friday, I try to open my Mail on my Mac laptop, it quits unexpectedly. I get an option to view a report with problem details etc. email:skingsland@warresisters.org

I shut off my computer and rebooted, and still the same problem. (I can access my email thru roundecube webmail, but I’m not able to search/find certain emails nor access all my contacts).

Should I reload my acct to my Mac? I am not sure how to do this. I am not sure if its an issue with my mail acct on my Mac or what. I updated my computer and there is still storage and memory space.

Thanks for any thoughts/advice.

Hi Susan, This one is difficult for us to investigate since it is happening with software on your computer. Can you choose the option to view the report with problem details, copy what it says and paste that here? Maybe we can find some clues there.

Hi sorry I don't see any useful info in the Mac error message. I don't think this is related to May First specifically. I did some searching and it appears many people have experienced this with Apple mail. I found this link that goes through an exhaustive list of things you can try to fix the problem locally. It might be worth trying one by one very carefully.
