Moving Wordpress from one domain to another

Hi. I have a Wordpress site setup at boobs2016.com. And I have another domain pointing to it: boobs2020.com -> boobs2016.com

I would like to invert this: I want the Wordpress to be under the boobs2020.com domain, and the boobs2016 redirecting to boobs2020.

Can I just add the existing SQL to the boobs2020 domain in the Mayfirst web panel? Or do I have to use FTP tool to make a copy?

Hi, I would do this the following way.

Due to a limitation in our current control panel you can't change the name of the boobs2016.com hosting order however you can freely change the DNS and site configuration there so that it effectively becomes boobs2020.com

I see you've created a new hosting order for boobs2020.com that you are using to forward to the 2016 site. I would start by deleting that hosting order. Then add DNS entries for boobs2020.com inside the boobs2016.com hosting order here:

You can make the new DNS entries for boobs2020.com the same as the boobs2016.com entries. Omit the MX entries if you don't need e-mail for this domain.

Allow 10 minutes or so for the DNS changes to propagate and then add boobs2020.com and www.boobs2020.com to the domain entries in the web configuration here:

This should create a new certificate that will include all of the listed domains.

Finally update your wordpress internally so that it uses boobs2020.com as the siteurl and update all the internal urls so that they become boobs2020.com

Let me know if you need help with any of these steps, I am also happy to make this change for you. This is something we hope to make easier in the new version of our infrastructure which is currently in development.
