Description

The output and behavior seems identical to this bug report:

I restarted prosody and now it is working. Not sure if this will be a recurring problem.

Crashed again with the same error. There seems to be something wrong with the vesion of prosody we upgraded to and external auth. I restarted prosody and we are back up again.

I've just updated our mod_external_auth module with the latest version. Maybe that will help.

So far so good, I'm cautiously optimistic that the upgrade of the external auth script solved the problem. (and may have solved #11836 to boot).
