Description
Hey,
I'm about to setup mediawiki at wiki.extinctionrebellion.us, and I assume I have to buy an ssl cert and add it to the apache config as per normal procedure, but I see that our forum at forum.extinctionrebellion.us is being served as https. So, do you have some sort of shared ssl scheme where I don't actually have to purchase one for the *.extinctionrebellion.us domain? I'm not an ssl wizard, but I thought you need a separate one for every subdomain or a wildcard cert. Our other site is Squarespace, which generates certs for sites automatically. How should I proceed to secure wiki.extinctionrebellion.us? Thanks.

You do not need to purchase a cert. You can generate LetsEncypt SSL certs automatically from our control panel. For this to work the wiki.extinctionrebellion.us subdomain and any other domains you want the site to respond to must be pointing to the correct server at the time of cert generation.
