Undeliverable email

I sent an email to info@jetsetgraffiti hoping to get some information about a video. I never heard back from them. I found the guys number, called him and found out he had emailed me three times from that email address and it had been returned to him as undeliverable. This is a BIG Thing for us if email's are being rejected. We just thought they were too busy for us and we lost a week that we could have been working on stuff.

Hi Mike,

First off, we need more information such as time this occurred and at least the email addresses involved and, if possible, the headers of the returned email. We have no idea where this person sent the email from, for example, and no copy of the error itself (which explains why the email was returned). Email is the most important service we all have without doubt and losing it is horrible so the priority is to fix what's wrong and we need information for that.

Anyway, I don't think anything's wrong. :-)

We ran a full check of our email logs for anything resembling jetsetgraffiti. I even ran checks for jetset which came up with one from jetsetjewelry. But nothing for jetsetgraffiti.

This means the email didn't come here. Usually what happens is that the person sending the email got your domain wrong...messed up a letter or two in the domain maybe. That could be the case here. People usually and understandably jump to the conclusion that something is messed up here but problems in an email system that affect only one email account are very very rare. If something's wrong here, everybody is affected. :-)

If that's not the case then could we impose on him to send you the headers of the returned mail.

I don't think the e-mail address used to file this ticket is still active, according to red and to the mail system on viewsic. Bummer that we didn't manage to track this down when it was still relevant :(
