It's two days later, and we're down to 707G Available. If someone can run du or ncdu in /home I can take it from there.

Hi sorry jamila, I have done just that, however it takes quite a long time to complete a full calculation of usage as ncdu has to stat all of the files to do so. Its been running for over 24 hours and is about half way through. Before that I used du on just the palantetech member folder but that only comes in around half a terabyte. I'm not sure yet how much space palante client folders are using yet.

Also fyi, we do have a plan for dealing with this. Most of the space on iz is actually occupied by our shared server backups. Palante backups and palante client backups are probably much smaller than those. So our plan for now is to expand the capacity of one of our offsite backup servers, sync your stuff there, and then hopefully be able to have you switch to using that backup destination without any interruptions. We're also clearing off some storage on iz that isn't needed to buy us a little more time. An in parallel to all of this I am working on getting a new offsite backup location up and running that will provide additional servers and space.

Cool, thank you! Let me know if you find that Palante or palante client backups are an issue and I'll help on that end. I'll be ready to switch backup servers as needed.
