Description (last modified by https://id.mayfirst.org/hic-al)

Hello!

I have a Wordpress site, and need to enable uploads up to 128MB, but am currently facing a limit of 2MB. I already modified any WP options I had available. I do not have access to any server conf files, like php.ini or any other. So I wonder what solution you could recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi, if you would like to do this yourself you can access the server vía sftp:

https://support.mayfirst.org/wiki/faq/files/sftp

If you can access the server over sftp you can change php seettings, by replacing the file hic-al.org/web/.user.ini with your own copy. This file which is also a symlink to {hic-al.org/include/php5/php.ini so you can edit either of those.

0 hic-al@peery:~$ ls -l  hic-al.org/web/.user.ini
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hic-al hic-al 58 Feb  3  2017 hic-al.org/web/.user.ini -> /home/members/hic-al/sites/hic-al.org/include/php5/php.ini

This guide offers some suggestions for editing your configuration to allow larger uploads.

https://support.mayfirst.org/wiki/faq/server/change-php-ini-settings

I can also just change the file for you if you prefer that route.
