Description

Hello. I'm trying to increase the upload size to at least 10MB on ausm.community It seems I have to change the php.ini file as described here (http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/), but when trying to login with FileZilla using the following info, it keeps failing.

host: sftp://floriberto.mayfirst.org username: ausm pass: [the password I established for the MySQL database user] port: [blank]

  • Owner set to https://id.mayfirst.org/jaimev
  • Status changed from new to assigned

You should change your custom the php.ini file as described in this tutorial:

https://support.mayfirst.org/wiki/faq/server/change-php-ini-settings

For sftp access, rather than using a mysql user, you should be using a regular user account who has also been granted server access from the control panel and their respective password.

Okay, thanks for clarifying, but for some reason it's not letting me in with my username tony and any of the passwords I've used over the last few years. I tried to figure out how to change the password but that doesn't seem to be allowed. I also created a new user (ausm.admin) and am trying to give it server access, but the status is pending-insert.

Your web site files are owned and executed by user tony. You are probably better off changing the password for user tony and accessing with that login.
