Description

Hi,

I was referred by Jaime to submit a ticket for a high level of spam comments we have been receiving. I attached a screenshot with some of the comments we have been receiving with the IP addresses displayed. Is there anything on your end that will help us address this issue?

Hi what e-mail client are you using? Is it possible for you to show us the full headers of at least one or two of those spam mails?

The screen shot is from the wordpress spam comments section. Spam emails are sent to our gmail inbox using the wordpress built in Mail function. I uploaded a wider shot of the screen.

Sorry, I misunderstood your original ticket description.

It looks like you do have the akismet plugin enabled. I would first review the configuration of this plugin. The wordpress docs make some suggestions.

Let me know if that isn't helpful and we can search for another solution.

Awesome, thank you! It seems that after the Akismet update and re-configuring our wordpress comment settings, we are no longer getting them and everything seems normal again. Thank you for your help! I will close the ticket.
