Hi Folks, What do u think about set up some Project Managment system for organizations?

We use Redmine, but it's difficult for "normal" users. Then I also know Taiga, but I think it's also complicated.

Do you know some Trello alternative? I mean, some taks/project management but easy to use. Will be very useful for organizations.

This is interesting. I've spent some time researching this in the past. Ultimately I recommended GitLab for another project although it is ulimately designed for managing software projects with git based code repositories, its issue tracking system provides the option of using a kanban style view based on tags. Taiga is actually based on Gitlab's code, although admittedly Gitlab may be even more complex than Taiga so it may not be the direction you want. I haven't tried it but it looks like WeKan is specifically an open source Trello alternative

I think one of the most difficult things about taking on a new "software as a service" for us is choosing a software project that shows signs of maturity , has an active community supporting it, and will continue to receive security upgrades in the future. We also want to be sure that it is something members will actually use. That is often hard to predict. And of course someone from our support team has to bottom line it and help us keep it running. It's a difficult decision.

Let's get jamie's input on this.

It sounds very interesting! I'm testing it on sandstorm.

How about this other?

I tried out WeKan using Sandstorm and it worked pretty well. It's also being worked on regularly, which is a good sign.

This would be a great service to add to MayFirst's offerings as I'm using Trello with a lot of projects and would prefer to use something open-source.
