Description

hello Jaime, we have an existing client site(s) we'd like to "warehouse" so they no longer are accessible in any way except by uws support (we need access to disable notifications) Could you advise us the best, proper way to do this? In many cases the dns settings have already been adjusted so while the domain is live elsewhere, the old site on mayfirst is still in the multi-site set up on pauline or jones. We don't want to delete it. We can tar and archive it, possibly, but then we probably cannot access it. Any assistance or thoughts on this would be appreciated. Doug

I generally think it is a better idea to keep these kind of sites completely offline. You can host them in a virtual server on a local computer that you can spin up whenever you need to see them live again. Leaving old sites online is always an invitation for problems in the future. What kind of notifications are you referring to?
