Description

I have noticed that over the past two weeks, our site coshnetwork.org has been running slow. Pages are significantly slower to load than usual. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay, just wanted to let you know that i have been looking into this his. so far I haven't identified anything particular in your host albizu that should be causing problems but I am still investigating.

Any further thoughts on this? The site continues to run extremely slowly. Just for the past month. Thank you.

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I've spent some time investigating your host albizu for anything out of the ordinary. At the moment it seems to be in good shape. Are you still experiencing slowness?

Yes. For the last month or so. Very strange.

At this very moment the page appears to load quickly for me. I tried several third party services that time your page load time and offer a breakdown of which elements are taking the most time to load.

It seems that there are some relatively large png images loaded on the front page and some requests to external javascript files at static.dudamobile.com

I've also noticed that the site allows anonymous registrations: http://www.coshnetwork.org/user/register

Unless you want anonymous people to get accounts on the site, I would suggest turning that off. Let us know if you'd like us to do it for you.

In addition to acting as a mangent for internet bots that try to create accounts on your site (which will slow things down), it also creates a mail back log on the server.
