Description

Hi there,

Our email service is down. We are able to send, not receive.

This has been going on for a few hours now.

Concerned that emails sent to us are bouncing, as they are not on the server.

Hi Stacey

Can you tell me exactly which accounts are having trouble receiving and whether you are using webmail or a dedicated client like Thunderbird or Outlook. If you are using a dedicated client can you make sure it is set to both send and receive mail vía host server mail.mayfirst.org.

Stacey I think this might have been related to a problem with the antivirus software on your primary host malcolm.mayfirst.org stalling yesterday. It should have been resolved last night when we did a maintenance reboot of the server. Please let me know if problems still persist.
