My Mailbox is Empty!

Description

When I access my social science centre (Lincoln) account from my computer, my email is EMPTY, when I access it from my smartphone, all is well. Can you help?

Hi David,

By chance do you have your smartphone setup to connect vía POP, that might download all new e-mail from the server to your phone but effectively empty it on the server. Using IMAP settings should allow both mailboxes to stay in sync. Could you tell me the operating system your smartphone uses? Also, do you have a way to send me a screenshot of the settings on your phone? If not, could you copy and send them as text?

E-mail is accumulating in your inbox which leads me to believe that what I mentioned about POP is not the issue. Let's go the other way. How are you checking mail from your computer?
