Description

Hi Guys -

We have a client that is apparently doing some back end work on their site, and wants to log into the server to do some work today

The info we have is :

SSH server: malcolm.mayfirst.org user: ibew103 password: XXXXXX

The message they got was Credentials being rejected by server.

Also - I tried to go to the site malcolm.mayfirst.org and got this message :

You've reached this page because you are trying to access a web site that is disabled or not set up properly. You may want to contact support to fix the problem.

You may also just be lost. In that case, try mayfirst.org.

Ack! This is a public support system - so your password was publicly published. I just xx'ed out the password. I then logged into the server in question and saw that two users were logged in with the ibew103 username (from two different IP addresses). I changed the password to something else and disconnected those users.

It's entirely possible that you were legitimately connected - in which case I'm really sorry! However, I didn't want to take the chance that someone had accessed your account with the published credentials!

You can reset the password on our reset password page - or give me a call.

I just spoke with Doug - sounds like two people were legitimately connected. I conveyed the new password, so I'm closing this ticket. Doug - please re-open if there are any additional problems.

Also... the message you get when you go to http://malcolm.mayfirst.org is our normal message when you go directly to the URL of a standard server.
