#1018 closed Bug/Something is broken (fixed)

blogs.mayfirst.org links to an image from blogsmf.mayfirst.org, which is password-protected

Reported by: Daniel Kahn Gillmor Owned by: Jamie McClelland
Priority: Urgent Component: Tech
Keywords: blogs.mayfirst.org Cc:
Sensitive: no

Description

when an authenticated user accesses http://blogs.mayfirst.org/, there is a link in the upper-left of the page to http://blogsmf.mayfirst.org/files/images/blogsblock.jpg

This image location re-maps to http://blogs.dev.mayfirst.org/files/images/blogsblock.jpg, which is password protected, as noted in #680.

This makes it impossible to comfortably view the site without authenticating to the development site.

Thanks for pointing that out. It was in block 5 - an absolute reference to the image file. I just fixed it, making it a relative reference (with a preceding /, but no host name).
